Ce poste de Trade Marketing Manager basé à Strasbourg est une opportunité rêvée pour rejoindre un groupe international et engagé tant sur les aspects environnementaux que sociétaux. Le groupe est en effet engagé auprès de plus de 450 ONG et développe des techniques de production afin de réduire la consommation d’eau dans les processus de fabrication.

Le Trade Marketing Manager est responsable de la mise en place et de la performance des opérations de marketing en lien avec les distributeurs. Sa fonction est une synthèse des problématiques marketing et commerciale. Il s’agit donc d’une très belle opportunité de travailler directement auprès de la Direction Marketing Europe de l’Ouest dans un groupe reconnu pour son ambiance de travail et un environnement de travail international.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Define and validate marketing and communication objectives with the Regional Director Europe West and the Marketing Director EMEA, and implement these in the Europe West region, by country, for Columbia and Sorel brands.

Ensure the brand communication strategy is implemented in the territory through effective and targeted advertising, Public Relations promotions and Cooperative activities. Manage all necessary research and competitor activity information.

Work closely with the Sales team to maximize brand exposure in Cooperative activities, develop sell-in and sell-out programs. Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers taking on board any feedback to improve the efficiency and quality of communication activities. Provide regular feedback to both the Regional Director and the Marketing Director.

This role is a maternity cover for 1 year (April 2021 to April 2022).

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Develop Europe West’s marketing and communications strategy and tactics, by country, together with the Regional Director Europe West, the Country Managers and the Director of Marketing EMEA including : advertising, public relations, events, product seeding, digital marketing and social media, co-op and in-store marketing, with a focus on increased Brand Awareness and sell-through for the Columbia and Sorel brands.

Contribute to the Go-To-Market planning process.

Brief the marketing communication strategy to the local marketing managers for their local planning, coordinate execution and report activities.

Provide the countries with appropriate tools for local advertising, promotions, co-op and in-store marketing, according to Global and Pan-European strategies and guidelines.

Develop close relationship with the US marketing team to insure synergy and consistency of the brand values and marketing tools.

Assume responsibility for the departmental budget for designated brand(s).

YOU ARE AND YOU HAVE

Minimum 5 years of experience in international marketing and communications. Experience and proven success in outdoor/sporting goods, or fashion/trend and/or footwear business highly appreciated, depending on the designated brand(s).

University degree in marketing, communications or business – or comparable skills.

You are perfectly fluent in French and English. German fluency would be a strong asset.

Strong general marketing and communication experience in multi-channel media environment. Strong work experience and proven successes in Public Relations.

Understanding and experience in digital and social media marketing.

Experience in working in a multi-national, multi-cultural and multi-lingual business environment.

Experience to operate and quickly adapt in a fast growing and continuously changing business environment.

Ability to lead, influence and motivate individuals and teams while driving results through teamwork and collaboration.

Ability to understand and plan strategies, but especially execute them operationally.

The role requires a high degree of flexibility, motivation, enthusiasm and a strong result driven attitude.
